September Update

First things first; sorry for the radio silence since the first. The truth is my cat of 10 years became suddenly ill and passed, and right after that I got COVID, and I haven't had a lot of energy for motivating yall. As a result, things have been even more sandboxy than usual.
I don't mind sustaining a sandbox game, but after the Halloween event we have coming up, I might not have events as big as the 4th wall ready for yall for the rest of the year. There's plenty of things to play with in the setting during that time and we WILL make some holiday stuff happen on a smaller scale than the 4th wall, but I understand if there's some disappointment and apologize ahead of time for that.
In light of everything, I wanted to remind you all that if you need or want to drop, you won't lose access to reading your threads. there is a setting that allows us to let you maintain reading access.
Activity check here isn't really used to keep people in game; it's to keep measure of how many people we're writing for. I don't mind writing for 5 people or for 10 or for 30, but each size of game requires different efforts. Smaller crowds befit more personalization, and bigger crowds need more opportunities. That's why it's important to know who is sticking around to play; so if you don't want to play, but you do want to keep your reading access, please don't be afraid you'll lose it.
As we go forward with a clearer image of who all is participating, we can adjust what we're planning. We're also open to suggestions for activities to do up to the end of the year and beyond!
